Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!

Description
We have an immediate opening for a Cloud Software Engineer to support development of diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements. Provides expertise in cloud computing, Eco-System, including implementing applications, distributed Computing, Information Retrieval (IR), and Object Oriented Design. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off- the-shelf (GOTS).

Position Desired Skills

• Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of Cloud Scalability.
• Hadoop/Cloud certification.
• Experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques and algorithms.
• Experience development and deploying analytic processes that incorporate/integrate multi-media technologies, including speech, text, image and video exploitation; analytics that function on massive data sets.
• Experience with data formats/techniques such as ASDF, XML (Schema, XLS/T, XQuery), Streaming parsers (Stax or SAX, DOM), protobuf, or Avro
• Experience with taxonomy construction for analytic disciplines, knowledge areas and skills.
• Experience developing and deploying data driven analytics; event driven analytics; sets of analytics orchestrated through rules engines.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics that discover and exploit social networks.
• Experience documenting ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, software application program interfaces and other technical specifications.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics within a heterogeneous schema environment.
• LDAP protocol configuration management and cluster performance management (e.g. Nagios).

Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Eight (8) years of general experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.
